ALIA
These videos were taken at the ALIA Institute program in the Netherlands in January 2010. They are improvised, interdisciplinary performanceswith musician, Jerry Granelli, and visual artist/ calligrapher, Barbara Bash, and myself. They are informed by the principles of Shambhala art and are celebrations of the brilliance of the present moment. We are influenced by this quote from Shunryu Suzuki Roshi, “If it comes out of nothingness, whatever you do it natural, and that is true activity.” That is our practice as artists, and we bring that artistic process to the Theory U change work to create the Social Presencing Theater.
